Almond Croissants


This is for 4 large croissants, but how cute would mini ones be for a shower!


Ingredients:


1/4 cup softened butter

1/4 cup almond flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon almond extract

Pinch of salt

Sliced almonds for topping


Method:


Slice 4 large croissants in half. Use 3/4 of the filling for the inside of the croissants, then spread the remaining filling on top. Add 1/3 cup of sliced almonds to a bowl. Press the top of the croissant into the almonds.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. Dust the tops with powdered sugar. Best served slightly warm.
